According to sources close to Eurogamer, the bundle featuring remasters of Arkham Asylum and Arkham City could be delayed for a significant amount of time.
No alternative release date was given, and if the rumours are to believed, the new target window of November could be pushed back even further, potentially into early next year.
The quality of the port is cited as the reason for the delay, specifically the game’s frame rate, which is apparently a “major issue." It’s not the first time Warner Bros. have had issues with Arkham ports; the PC version of Arkham Knight suffered a notoriously poor launch, leading to sales of the game being suspended until it could be fixed. It seems the publisher does not want to make the same mistakes again, meaning it may be some time before we see Batman: Return to Arkham coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
