As was promised earlier in the week, Bungie have given Destiny fans another look at their highly-anticipated sequel in today’s reveal trailer. The developer also confirmed the game will be coming to PC, and revealed the contents of the various special editions available for pre-order. Destiny 2 will be a “new beginning for every player,” according to Bungie, who have promised to provide more details about the game over the coming months, starting with a gameplay reveal on 18 May.
Three special editions of the game are currently available for pre-order, as well as an expansion pass which includes access to two expansions that include “brand new story missions, cooperative activities, competitive multiplayer, and a wealth of new weapons, armor, and gear.” The special editions and their contents are:
All three special editions come with the Premium Digital Content bundle, which includes a Legendary Sword, the Legendary Player Emote and the Cabal Empire Themed Emblem. Anyone who pre-orders the game will be granted first access to game’s open beta, which is set to take place sometime this summer, Bungie announced.
