Darksiders: Warmastered Edition officially confirmed

A remastered version of the original Darksiders has been officially confirmed by Nordic Games after it was prematurely revealed at the recent Gamepolis 2016 expo.

Darksiders: Warmastered Edition launches 25 October on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC and Wii U, and will retail at £14.99/€19.99/$19.99.

The remaster is being handled by developer KAIKO, who also worked on the Xbox One version of Darksiders II: Deathinitive Edition.

As well as all the content from the original game, Darksiders: Warmastered Edition features:

• Native 1080p rendering resolution for console platforms
• 4k support and additional video options for PC
• Doubled all texture resolutions
  
• Rendering improvements and rework
  
• Better shadow rendering quality
• Post processing effects
• 60 FPS in moment to moment gameplay (PS4, Xbox One, PC, 30 for WiiU)
