Star Wars Battlefront’s Scarif expansion out 6 December - try all previous expansions for free this weekend

The Rogue One inspired DLC will be available to Season Pass holders from 6 December, and EA and DICE are letting everyone try out the game’s previous expansions for free until 20 November.

The fourth and final Star Wars Battlefront expansion includes four maps based on the upcoming film, including one set on the beaches of the “all-new tropical planet”, Scarif.

The two new heroes are Jyn Erso and Orson Krennic, and there will be a “multi-stage game mode with space and ground combat”, something which the previous Death Star expansion also featured.

The Rogue One: X-Wing VR Mission will also be released on 6 December as a free download for anyone who owns both the PS4 version of Star Wars Battlefront and a PSVR, allowing players to “carry out an important mission for the Rebellion” from the perspective of a Rebel pilot.
 
Lastly, to celebrate the anniversary of Battlefront’s release last year, all players will earn quadruple score this weekend.
