Toy company Hasbro and video games publisher Outright Games have teamed up to bring a brand-new family friendly Transformers title to PC and consoles later this year. “The Transformers franchise is one of the most enduring and recognizable in the world of entertainment,” said Terry Malham, CEO of Outright Games. “It’s an honour to work with this beloved universe and these iconic characters to create a new and exciting Transformers console game that families can enjoy together.”
Apart from the above trailer, not much other information on the game was revealed alongside the announcement, but more details are set to be shared later this summer, according to the press release. Transformers: Battlegrounds is out 23 October on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC. Let us know your thoughts below. Following a premature video reveal yesterday, Torn Banner Studios have officially confirmed that their medieval multiplayer brawler, Chivalry 2, is coming to both the current and next generation of consoles as well as PC.
The sequel will feature improved visuals and larger battles than its predecessor, with up to 64-players able to take part in storming castles and raiding villages as part of the game’s expanded grand Team Objective mode.
Torn Banner have also added more voice-lines, battle cries and deeper character customisation for “enhanced player expression,” and the game’s combat system has been revamped for a much “faster and more fluid” experience. A new downed state has been introduced, giving teammates the opportunity to revive fallen allies, and players will also be able to battle on despite the loss of a limb or equipment so that they can “stay in the action until you’ve bled your last drop.” There’s no Chivalry 2 release date just yet, though the game is said to be coming to Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PS4, PS5 and PC via the Epic Games Store (EGS) sometime later this year. Bethesda and Zenimax Online Studios have released the latest major paid expansion for The Elder Scrolls Online, their Tamriel-set MMO, for Xbox One and PS4 following it’s launch on PC last month. Alongside the usual deluge of new side quests and characters, players can also explore the game’s new Antiquities system, which gives them the chance to discover and unearth hidden treasures dotted throughout Tamriel via two new mini games. The game’s vampire player base will also be interested to learn that their skill line has been reworked. New changes include the Blood Frenzy ability, which sees players deal out massive damage while it's active but also lose health at the same time. All previous skill line experience will be converted over to the new system, which will be available to everyone, not just Greymoor users. The Elder Scrolls Online: Greymoor is out now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. A Stadia version of the game will be launching on 16 June.

UPDATE: Due to the Steam Summer Game Festival being postponed by a week, players will have to wait a little bit longer to try out the PHOGS! demo, with the event now taking place from 16-22 June. ORIGINAL STORY: Coatsink and Bit Loom Studios have announced a delay for their physics-based puzzle game, PHOGS!, which James and Rob named one of their EGX 2018 games of the show when they went hands-on with the game two years ago. While news of the delay is no doubt disappointing for those looking forward to what’s described as a “bonkers physics dog adventure” by Rob, there is some good news in the form of a demo coming to PC via the Steam Summer Game Festival. The demo will be publicly playable for the first time on 9 June, 10:00 PDT (17:00 GMT).
Disappointed by the delay? Looking forward to trying the game’s demo? Let us know below or in the forums.
