Assassin’s Creed Origins first major DLC releases later this month, second expansion also detailed16/1/2018 Ubisoft have announced the release date for Assassin’s Creed Origins’ first piece of DLC, The Hidden Ones. Preceding the arrival of the first major piece of DLC is a free mission called Incoming Threat, in which players must “head-off an incoming incursion and find where it’s coming from.”
The second major expansion coming to Origins, The Curse of the Pharaohs, is out 6 March and takes on a more mythological theme as players are tasked with investigating an ancient curse that’s plaguing Thebes and has brought the ancient kings back to life. Once again, this DLC adds new content in the form of weapons and cosmetic items, and also increases the level cap to 55. Both expansions will be available to purchase separately or come as part of the game’s season pass. Releasing between the two expansions is the previously revealed Discovery Tour mode, which allows players to explore and learn about Ancient Egypt at their leisure without having to worry about enemy attacks or completing mission objectives. This educational mode launches 20 February as a free update for everyone who owns the game, but can also be purchased separately on PC via Uplay and Steam.
