Assassin's Creed Origins releases later this month and Ubisoft gave us the lowdown on what's being added post launch. The first expansion, The Hidden Ones, takes players to a point in time years after the events of Origins, as they clash with an occupying Roman force in an all new region. This update, planned for release in January, will also raise the level cap.
The second, The Curse of the Pharaohs, features a mystical realm to explore as players investigate the cause of a curse that has brought the dead pharaohs back to life. Expect brand new abilities to be introduced and a further increase to the level cap when this launches in March. On top of that, there's also a range of free content and special events to look forward to. The Trials of the Gods features epic boss battles against Egyptian gods that take place during special timed events. Rewards will be given to those who are victorious. The first Trial of the Gods will be available 15 days after release. Available from launch, The Nomad's Bazaar features a wandering merchant who gives daily quests which can unlock exotic rewards, and a photo mode lets players capture the beauty of the Egyptian landscape. Coming in early 2018, Horde mode pits players against endless waves of enemies in the Gladiator Arena, whilst the Discovery Tour turns the game into a combat free "living museum" with guided tours by historians. Assassin's Creed Origins releases on Xbox One, PS4 and PC on 27 October. Are you picking this up? Let us know below or over in the forums. Leave a Reply. |
