The Call of Duty XP fan event kicked off with the multiplayer trailer and the news that a beta is coming in October.
The multiplayer trailer shows off some of the weapons and perks that will available. Take a look:
You may have noticed that a new addition to the series was teased just at the end of the trailer. Using Salvage, an in-game currency earned during matches, you can craft base weapons into more powerful 'Prototype' weapons. Prototypes come with special Gun Perks that alter the functionality of your weapons and may favour a particular play style.
Those more interested in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered, which is included with Infinite Warfare, will no doubt be happy to know that all 16 maps from the original will be included. 10 maps are available at launch and the other 6 will be released in December at no extra cost.
As an added bonus for PS4 owners, Activision will also be offering Jackal Assault to all players for free. The PSVR title puts you in control of a Jackal, the personal fighter jet from the game.
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare launches 4 November. We'll update you on the Xbox One beta when more info is released.
