Darksiders III release date and special editions revealed

THQ Nordic have revealed that the latest chapter in the Darksiders saga will be releasing worldwide in November. This time players will be taking on the role of Fury as she sets off to hunt down and destroy the Seven Deadly Sins.

Fury is a mage whose very form will evolve throughout the course of the story, alongside her powers and weaponry. The Charred Council has called upon Fury to battle from the “heights of heaven down through the depths of hell in a quest to restore the balance between good and evil” and prove that she is the fiercest of the Four Horsemen. ​

There are a few different editions on offer, some more wallet-friendly than others, and all pre-orders come with an exclusive skin for Fury's base armour.

Those who purchase digitally can go for the Standard Edition or the Deluxe Edition. The latter contains:

• Darksiders III
• Fury Exclusive Armor DLC – a completely original skin replacing Fury’s base armor set (purely cosmetic, no gameplay impact)
• Post-Release DLC 1
• Post-Release DLC 2
• Soundtrack (PC only)

You can pre-order now for a 12.5% discount and 24 hour early access (Xbox One and PS4 only).

Console owners have a third option when ordering online. The Blades & Whip Edition features:
