Extinction gameplay debuted

The first gameplay video for Iron Galaxy's action adventure title has been released, and with it details on Extinction’s story and setting.

The world of Extinction is under siege by an army of formidable invaders known as the Ravenii. Avil, the protagonist, is one of the last Sentinels, a legendary order of warriors with the skills and toolset required to defeat the would-be conquerors.

​One such skill is Avil's agility; he can double jump, air dash, glide and wallrun, using these manoeuvres defensively to escape danger, or offensively to climb the hulking Ravenii and decapitate them.

Attacks can be chained together in numerous ways and cancelled into dodges and powerful Rune Strikes. Mixing up these attacks with movement abilities will be crucial to your survival.

As Avil kills minions, dismembers ogres and saves civilians, his momentum will build, granting him the energy he needs to land a lethal killing blow.

Extinction is due to release early next year and will feature a story-driven campaign, side quests, daily challenges and custom battles. More details will be announced in the future.
