It’s officially October and, thus, the countdown to Halloween has begun! Kickstarting a month of ghoulish giveaways is Friday the 13th on Steam.

​Active PlayStation Plus subscribers can soon download the game free for a limited time, though why should they have all the fun? Our lucky winner will do one better and get to play the asymmetric multiplayer hit in all its glory on PC.

One player takes control of iconic movie monster Jason Voorhees, tasked with hunting and killing a group of camp councillors in a variety of gruesome ways, while up to seven players control his potential victims and attempt to outwit and escape the lumbering powerhouse. It’s a fun dynamic that can lead to some very memorable moments, both humorous and horrifying.
