Ubisoft have shared some tantalising details about the Ghost Recon: Breakpoint beta, which runs from 5 - 9 September, along with a new live-action trailer and a look at the first year of post-launch content. The beta will feature two missions taken from the main storyline, side missions to discover more about the island and its inhabitants, eight new Factions missions per day and three Drone Areas to test yourself against some of the game's tougher opponents.
During the beta, players can participate in Man Down, a special in-game charity event. This page tracks the amount of times players revive their teammates, with Ubisoft donating to Child's Play upon reaching certain milestones. The first year of post-launch content begins on the day of the game’s release with Operation Greenstone, followed by Episode 2 and 3, both of which last four months and bring in the following additional content:
