Ubisoft and Lucasfilm Games are teaming up to bring players an all-new Star Wars game, it’s been revealed.
While there are no details on the geographical setting or time period just yet, it does sound like Ubisoft’s Star Wars game will feature a new set of characters with their own unique story.
According to Creative Director Julian Gerighty, it’ll be “a unique game in the saga with a captivating story and set of characters that players can relate to and connect with.” Gerighty continued, “We want to take what is familiar and resonant about Star Wars and tell the stories of new characters who have their own motivations and stakes.” The full interview is available here. Today’s reveal isn’t the only big piece of news coming out of the recently revived Lucasfilm Games, with yesterday bringing about confirmation that Bethesda and Machine Games (Wolfenstein 2) are making a new Indiana Jones game. No release date or target platforms have been announced for either game yet, but feel free to speculate over in the forums or in the comments below. Leave a Reply. |
