Sony are releasing a new version of their VR headset with a few minor upgrades.
There's also a new processor unit that supports HDR pass through, allowing players to make the most of HDR compatible content on their TV without first having to disconnect the processor unit, although this will only work when the headset is turned off.
Unfortunately, it won't be possible to swap out an old processor unit with the new one, as the connection cables on the newer models are slimmer.
There's no word yet on when you can get your hands on the updated PS VR, but the pricing will remain the same and all PS VR games will be compatible with both models.
