Remedy Entertainment, the studio behind Quantum Break and the Alan Wake series, have confirmed that their next game will not be a Microsoft exclusive.

The news comes via a blog post in which the Finnish studio confirmed it was working on two games; a sequel to Smilegate’s free-to-pay PC title Crossfire, and a project currently operating under the codename P7, which Remedy state will release on a “wider range of platforms”, including the PS4.

Details on the unannounced project were, naturally, thin on the ground, but Remedy did mention that they are reworking their Northlight engine, which was used to develop Quantum Break, to be compatible with the PlayStation 4.
 
Remedy also announced results for the 2016 fiscal year in the post, noting a “year-on-year revenue growth of 19.4%” for the studio, which contributed to an operating profit of €3.9 million.
