The raids and Nightfall Strike are high level activities for those who have seen all there is to see in Destiny 2, and Prestige versions offer an even greater challenge for players who have hit the power level cap of 300.
As the level cap has increased to 330 with the update, so to have the necessary levels needed for those events. The weekly Nightfall Strike now requires a power level of 270, whilst Leviathan needs 290 (up from 240 and 280, respectively).

However, the Prestige versions of those tasks now require players to be at the new level cap, essentially removing the ability to complete them (and the associated trophy/achievement) without purchasing the DLC.

The new playlists in the Crucible in which the new maps are more likely to appear in rotation, are also unavailable to players without the expansion, but they can still enter the Quickplay and Competitive playlists.

As you may expect, there's a lot of unhappy customers over on the game's official forums and Subreddit.

Has the update soured your experience? Or are you enjoying the DLC? Let us know below or over in the forums.
