Star Ghost coming to Wii U this week

This week's big eShop release is Star Ghost, a classic arcade style SHMUP (or shoot ‘em up for that term’s detractors) brought to us by new indie developer, Squarehead Studios. Squarehead was founded by Rhys Lewis, a former Retro Studios and Rare employee, who worked on games such as Donkey Kong: Tropical Freeze, Metroid Prime 3 and Banjo-Kazooie.

Star Ghost boasts procedurally generated levels that span twelve star systems, and also features music from industry legend David Wise - a man also known for his work with Rare on the likes of Donkey Kong Country. Expect aliens, power-ups, and high scores when the game lands this Thursday, 10 March.
