The Division reaches 20 million players on second anniversary

Ubisoft’s The Division has reached a new player milestone this month, coinciding with the game’s second anniversary.

Since its launch two years ago, the game has played host to more than 20 million players worldwide, and as a thank you to all those agents who braved the streets of pandemic-ridden NYC, Ubisoft are hosting a number of timed events this month.

​Running all through March, a new global event kicks off each week and gives participating players the chance to earn cosmetic and gameplay rewards.

Here’s the schedule for the month’s special events:​

• Outbreak 1 – 5 March
• Assault 8 – 12 March
• Strike 15 – 19 March
• Ambush 22 – 26 March

There’s even a free sneeze emote that can be picked up from the reward claim vendor in-game.

“We are very proud of what we have achieved during these past two years. Listening and giving back to the community has always been our first objective and we would like to thank all The Division players for their valuable feedback and their support,” said Creative Director, Julian Gerighty.
