Pokémon GO players will start to see 80 new monsters cropping up in the wild sometime later this week, Niantic and The Pokémon Company have announced. The new evolution items allow trainers “to evolve their Pokémon into ones that were originally discovered in the Johto region,” and two berries add a couple of new gameplay features.
The Nanab Berry slows down a Pokémon’s movements, while the Pinap Berry rewards trainers with double Candy if the next capture attempt is successful. Trainer avatars are also getting some love in the update, with more customisation options in the form of hats, shirts, pants and other items, some of which will be available from the in-game Pokémon GO shop. Which Pokémon from the Johto region are you hoping to see out in the wild this week? Let us know below or in the forums. Leave a Reply. |
