A follow up to Thea: The Awakening, Thea 2 is a turn-based strategy title that blends RPG, survival and card game elements. It takes place within a Slavic-inspired fantasy setting, where players fill the role of a deity of Thea and take command of a pantheon.

​We recently chatted to writer Mila "Yuki" Irek at this year’s EGX Rezzed, discussing how she helped create the game’s lore and story.

Levels in Thea 2 are procedurally generated, with players said to be able to influence the landscape in a variety of ways, such as building towns, expanding territories and simply by wandering the land.

Players can also “become a warlord or a diplomat, or simply remain an outsider wandering the world in search of glory.” Conflicts in the game take place in the form of card battles, where followers and enemies comprise the decks.
