THQ Nordic detail Darksiders III post-launch DLC

THQ Nordic and Darksiders III developer Gunfire Games have revealed two separate DLCs for their upcoming hack-n-slash adventure.

The first, titled The Crucible, is a horde mode where players can take on waves of enemies with Fury for the chance to unlock new items and rewards, while the second, Keepers of the Void, adds a new quest set in the Serpent Holes.

​Besting the ancient threat located in Serpent Holes and overcoming new puzzles and enemies sees players rewarded with an all new weapon and the Abyssal Armor set.

Set during an apocalypse on Earth, Darksiders III follows the story of Fury, the fiercest of the Four Horsemen, as she sets out on a quest to restore the balance between good and evil. The game will feature an “open-ended, living, free-form planet Earth” that’s been dilapidated by war and reclaimed by nature.

​Darksiders III is out 27 November on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. Two rather extravagant special editions are currently available to pre-order, which you can check out here.
