Warhammer: Vermintide 2 out now on Xbox One and Xbox Game Pass

Fatshark’s cooperative first-person melee action game launches on the Xbox One family of consoles today, with 4K support for Xbox One X.

Having already shifted more than a million copies since its release on PC earlier in the year, Vermintide 2 looks to carry on that success on Xbox One. A PS4 version will be coming at some point, but Fatshark have yet to provide a solid release date for Sony’s platform.

“We are excited to bring Vermintide 2 to the Xbox community” says Martin Wahlund, CEO at Fatshark. “We are looking forward to take on Skaven and Chaos with the console gamers.”

​The game is also being immediately added to Xbox Game Pass, meaning those with an active subscription can download and play the standard edition of Vermintide 2 to their heart’s content.

As well as the standard edition of the game, Xbox One users can also grab a Premium Edition, which contains a Sigmar Keep statue, Hemlgart heraldry themed skins, a premium edition portrait frame and three exclusive heroic deeds.
