Wastelanders update that adds human NPCs to Fallout 76 delayed, private servers coming next week19/10/2019 Bethesda have delayed the release of the Fallout 76 Wastelanders update, which was originally supposed to launch later this year.
One update that will be making its way to the game this year is the introduction of private servers, which are scheduled to go live sometime next week.
As the name suggests, this “number one community-requested feature” will allow players (for a price) to host their own private worlds with friends, with the ability to “mod” said worlds being added at a later date. Of course, while the ability to host your own game is always a good option to have, we’ve found that most random players we’ve bumped into during our travels across post-apocalyptic Virginia have been eager to help, rather than hinder. Bethesda end the blog with the news that more fixes and quality of life improvements are on the way, while the studio is also said to be working on bringing new events, a legendary player system, a public server and perk loadouts to the game. Disappointed by the delay? Looking forward to hosting your own private world? Let us know below or in the forums. Leave a Reply. |
