BioWare unveil a new Mass Effect: Andromeda trailer, Mass Effect 2 & 3 now backwards compatible7/11/2016 It’s N7 day, so that means there’s a brand new Mass Effect: Andromeda trailer for fans to enjoy.
The mission to reach Andromeda begins in 2185, just before the events of Mass Effect 2, and it looks like the far-flung setting and new timeline will allow BioWare to freely introduce new species and gameplay features without interfering with any of the franchises’ established lore. Xbox One users got a little extra surprise this N7 day, with news that Mass Effect 2 and 3 will be joining the original game as backwards compatible on the console. All three titles are also accessible from the EA Access vault for subscribers to download and enjoy. Mass Effect: Andromeda launches on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC in spring 2017.
