Symmetra to be redesigned in Overwatch, new ultimate being added to the support character23/11/2016 The developers felt that the character was underused and weak in certain situations, so an upcoming patch will buff her abilities and even add a new ultimate. The shield generator doesn't need line of sight, allowing you to hide it away somewhere defensible and keep the enemy on their toes. You can take a look at the developer update below for more information. It's worth noting that Symmetra will still have the use of her teleporter and can choose which ability would best suit the situation.
Some other balancing changes are also being made. Photon Barrier
Photon Projector (Primary Fire)

The patch is being tested in the Public Test Region on PC. Looking forward to the new changes? Will they make Symmetra a more balanced character?
