Old School Musical (OSM) features 50 chiptune tracks that you'll battle baddies to. The "loony" campaign mode takes players on a trip down memory lane, with protagonists Tib and Rob discovering where all the bugs came from in a selection of classic games.

Sonic Adventure 2 and its Battle DLC are up for grabs on Steam in this week's giveaway!

Originally released on the SEGA Dreamcast, Sonic Adventure 2 is still considered the best 3D Sonic the Hedgehog game by many. Featuring a split story campaign, it introduced several new characters to the franchise that went on to become iconic mainstays.

In the Hero campaign you battle to save the world as Sonic, Tails and Knuckles. In the Dark campaign, you strive to destroy it as Shadow, Eggman and Rouge. The included Sonic Adventure 2: Battle DLC includes an additional six characters, 12 multiplayer battle maps, and the Chao Karate mini-game to further the fight between heroes and villains.

RIDE 4 Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 versions announced, free for current-gen owners

Milestone have announced next-generation Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 editions of motorcycle racing game RIDE 4, which releases on current-gen consoles this October.

Those who purchase the game on Xbox One or PS4 will be given a free upgrade to the respective next-gen edition when those versions release next year on 30 April. PlayStation users will be able to download and play any purchased DLCs on the PS5, although, strangely, there’s no mention in the press release of the same feature for upgrading Xbox players.

Both next-gen editions will support 60FPS gameplay and 4K resolutions, with up to 20 riders able to compete in both online and offline races.

The PS5 version will make use of the DualSense controller’s advanced haptic feedback feature to simulate varying degrees of gas and break lever resistance. Meanwhile, the console’s powerful SSD will be used to “significantly” cut loading times.

RIDE 4 is out 8 October on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC via Steam. XSX and PS5 versions will launch 30 April 2021.
