Image Credit: Eurogamer Photos of an apparent PS4 Slim turned up on NeoGAF over the weekend, after someone supposedly managed to get hold of the console from Gumtree. While people raged back and forth over the authenticity of the images, Eurogamer took it upon themselves to find out the truth - visiting the home of the person in possession of the Slim.
A video was recorded showing the console booting up, seemingly proving it was indeed genuine, but the footage has since been pulled. There’s little information on whether the Slim will feature any improved specs or features over it’s bigger sibling, but there's a chance we’ll soon know more as a reveal is said to be planned at a PlayStation event on 7 September, where it’s also very likely the upgraded PS4, currently codenamed Neo, will also be revealed. It’s a move similar to one which Microsoft made at E3 when they revealed both the Xbox One S and the Scorpio at the same time. What do you make of the PS4 Slim?
