Gears of War 4 multiplayer beta arriving next month

Gears of War 4’s multiplayer beta arrives next month on Xbox One, and people who played either the console or Windows 10 versions of Gears of War: Ultimate Edition will get a few days head start.

Major Nelson confirmed on his blog that starting 18 April, those who have played GoW: Ultimate Edition will start to receive tokens which will grant early access to the beta, a whole six days before it opens up to everyone else on Xbox One.

The open beta will be available to Xbox Live Gold members after the conclusion of the early access, and will run from 24 April – 1 May.

If you’d like to take part in the early access but haven’t got around to playing GoW: Ultimate Edition just yet, then there is still time to join in as Microsoft are extending the qualification period.

All you need to do to qualify is simply log onto Xbox Live and play the game on either Windows 10 or Xbox One before 11 April.
