Blood and Wine, the last expansion for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, is out next week, so CD Projekt Red have released a launch trailer to get you in the mood for some more beast slaying. Blood and Wine gives players a brand new region to explore, a remote area untouched by war known as Toussaint, which is comparable to the main game’s No Man’s Land area in terms of scale. All is not well in the seemingly peaceful land however, and its inhabitants have been forced to call upon Geralt and his monster dispatching skills to rid themselves of a beast terrorising the region. Players will meet new characters and take on new monsters as they unravel the horrifying secret behind the land’s woes. Blood and Wine is available to download from Tuesday 31 May on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. PlayStation 4 users based in the UK may be interested to know that GAME are offering an exclusive limited edition boxed version of the DLC, which features a download code for Blood and Wine, physical versions of the Nilfgaard and Northern Realm Gwent decks, a Gwent guide, and a special collector’s box. Let us know your thoughts on Geralt’s final adventure over in the forums.
