Xbox Wire has revealed some details about the two multiplayer maps being added to Gears of War 4 at the start of next month, with Season Pass holders granted a week’s worth of early access. Checkout “Revisit the iconic supermarket in Cole’s hometown of Hanover 25 years after the events of Gears of War 3 in this Legacy Map. Much like the rest of Sera, nature is reclaiming whatever it can following the Locust Wars, but that hasn’t slowed the fast, furious and frenetic combat that takes place between the checkout lanes and the electronics department.” Drydock
“Transported from a COG ship building facility to a ship breaking scrapyard on a Seran mudflat, this fan favorite returns with a vengeance to Gears of War 4 Versus Multiplayer and Horde modes.” Season Pass holders will have access to the two maps from 1 November via the Developer Playlists, which allows squads of up to three to play them in Dodgeball and Arms Race modes in Versus Multiplayer, and Horde mode while on normal difficulty. The maps will be made available for free on all public playlists from 8 November. Two new maps will be added every month for a year on a rotation basis, with Season Pass owners given access to all of them for offline modes.
