With just over two weeks to go until E3 kicks off, it’s probably safe to say Microsoft have been the hot topic leading up the annual gaming event.
Now it seems E3 are keen to add to the mounting hearsay leading up to the expo, by seemingly confirming the existence of VR on Xbox One.
As was spotted by some eagle eyed NeoGaf users, an Xbox One VR listing has appeared on the official E3 site, with four developers registering products for the category. These include Rebellion, 3DRudder, Readily Information Co. Ltd. and Maximum games. There’s no official word from Microsoft regarding the Xbox One VR links, but one of the biggest rumours about the Scorpio was that it could be compatible with Oculus Rift in some way. Rift already supports some Xbox One hardware in the form of the controller, which comes bundled with each VR kit. Are we about to see Xbox One VR revealed at this year’s E3? Let us know your thoughts over on the forums. And be sure to check out what Sam thought of VR when he went hands on with the technology at Play It! Manchester earlier in the year.
