Asobo Studio and Focus Home Interactive are celebrating the successful launch of A Plague Tale: Innocence with a special video starring Sean Bean.

In the vid, Bean offers a dramatic reading of a poem by William Blake, The Little Boy Lost, which “perfectly illustrates” protagonists Amicia and Hugo’s journey through a plague-ravaged and war-torn medieval France. Blake’s material shares the game’s themes of “childhood innocence and loss” and served as a source of inspiration to the developers.

Sam described the game as a “memorably melancholic adventure with a life-affirming side of joy” in his recent review, which you can read in full here.
