The HTC Vive version will not feature the entire game, but instead comes with seven self-contained cases from the campaign that have been rebuilt “specifically for virtual reality,” in what Rockstar describe as an “unprecedented interactive experience.” This will be the first time the studio has experimented with VR. LA Noire will release on Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch and HTC Vive on 14 November. Rockstar did not reveal the price point for any platform. Did you play the original? Torn Banner Studios are giving away copies of their multiplayer brawler Mirage: Arcane Warfare on Steam for one day only, with the game yours to keep thereafter.
Torn Banner cited poor launch sales as the reason for the giveaway and subsequent price drop, and hope that the special offers will attract more players to help boost the game’s community:
“Mirage launch sales were poor. That sucked, and we know it… More than anything, we’re disappointed for the players who stuck by us and did buy Mirage – but who have struggled to find people to play against. We just want people to play the game we spent years making. We have faith that Mirage can find a larger audience still, so we’re being aggressive about getting it into people’s hands.” Since its launch in May, Torn Banner have been supporting the game with “new maps, new features like bots, new character abilities” as well as performance improving patches and additional class customisation options. Will you be taking advantage of the giveaway and tucking into some Arcane Warfare this week? Let us know below.
