Arizona Sunshine developer announce Skyworld for PS VR

Arizona Sunshine developer Vertigo Games and Wolfdog Interactive are bringing their award-winning strategy game, Skyworld, to PS VR.

Originally released last year on HTC Vive and Oculus Rift, Skyworld is a turn-based strategy game which combines deck building elements and fast-paced, real-time battles to create a “unique strategy blend fully reimagined for VR.” Players can directly manipulate units and the map itself as they command armies made up of archers, catapults, knights and dragons.

The game will feature a story-based campaign in which players must conquer multiple, “unique” virtual reality worlds, and online 1v1 multiplayer across various skirmish maps.

Other touted features include:

• Build your population, buildings & resources turn-by-turn
• Command your forces in addictive real-time battles
• Research and upgrade a full roster of units & legendaries
• Build a powerful, balanced deck across 4 categories: land, air, ranged & spells

Skyworld is scheduled to release sometime in early 2019 on PS VR.
