The second major DLC for Assassin's Creed Origins is available from tomorrow and adds more story content, gear and an increased level cap.

The Curse of the Pharaohs is set four years after the conclusion of the main story and sees Bayek travel to a new area, the capital city of Thebes, to investigate a curse that is plaguing the region.

The pharaohs have risen from the dead and are slaughtering civilians in the streets. Bayek believes this could have something to do with grave robbers pilfering from the Valley of the King, which sounds like a fair assumption.

Players will be tasked with finding key artifacts linked with each pharaoh in order to put them to rest, but it won't be easy. On his quest Bayek will face mythical creatures, such as giant scorpions, and have to journey through the afterlife.

The level cap is being raised to 55 to allow for the purchase of seven new abilities, plus there's new outfits and gear to be had, including rare and legendary weapons inspired by Egyptian mythology.

The Curse of the Pharaohs is included in the season pass or can be purchased separately.
