Assassin’s Creed Rogue Remastered coming to consoles and PC this March

Dark Souls isn’t the only remaster to be announced today, after Ubisoft decided to get in on the act by revealing an upgraded version of Assassin’s Creed Rogue will be making its way to Xbox One, PS4 and PC this spring.

The game, set in 18th Century North America, originally launched on Xbox 360 and PS3 in 2014, and features the story of Assassin turned Templar Shay Patrick Cormac as he hunts down his former brothers. The remaster is being developed by the same team that worked on the original, Ubisoft Sofia.

Both previously released story expansions, The Armor of Sir Gunn Quest and The Siege of Fort de Sable, will be included in the remaster, as well as the Explorer and Master Templar packs, each of which feature many cosmetic and weapon items. There’s even a special Assassin’s Creed Origins memento included in the form of Bayek’s legacy outfit.
 
Xbox One X and PS4 Pro users can also look forward to playing the game in higher resolutions thanks to the presence of 4K support.
 
Assassin’s Creed Rogue is out 20 March on Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
