Dimly lit maps provide cover as players are only visible when they shoot, dash or walk into a light source. Each of the maps have different lighting mechanics and there are a variety of different weapons with their own distinctive firing modes.

The shotgun, autorifle, SMG and revolvers are available from the off, but as you level up you'll gain access to a sword, grenade launcher, shock bow, deadly umbrella and more.
Players can get warmed up with special challenges or take part in co-op matches against AI before jumping into local or online multiplayer matches.

Versus Evil General Manager, Steve Escalante, had this to say on the approaching release:

"Mild Beast Games have a created an award-winning multiplayer formula that totally hooks players from the outset. At Sundown has been a real crowd pleaser at events like PAX, where it won players over with its superb 4 player party set up. We’re really excited to announce the games’ cross-platform launch, which underlines our commitment to bringing out the best in our indie partners."

PC owners are offered an early taste of the game with a free demo, available via Steam right now. The demo includes four of the 11 weapons and a selection of levels set in the Garden and Mansion maps.

You can keep up to date and find out more info on the
At Sundown official site.
