Hound Picked Games and developer Causal Bit Games have confirmed a delay for the Switch version of Battle Princess Madelyn, which released last week on Xbox One and PC. “Unfortunately, the delay for Switch (and PS4 (NA)) was unavoidable, but these extra weeks have resulted in superb feedback from some top gaming media, and experts, which means some new and exciting additions to the game will occur over the next month via patches updated through all the stores,” said Causal Bit Games’ Creative Director, Christopher Obritsch.
“Due to the length of time it takes to get patches through the different publishers, we hope that the Switch version will be out very soon. We will ensure that all of the bug fixes and changes we took in from feedback are in the game on launch. Thank you for your understanding.” While the Switch version remains unavailable for the time being, PlayStation 4 users in North America can look forward to the launch of Battle Princess Madelyn later this month, on 20 December. There’s no word yet on European release date, however. Battle Princess Madelyn is an old-school arcade action game inspired by classic titles such as Ghouls N’ Ghosts and Wonder Boy 3: The Dragon’s Trap. Notable features include hand-drawn pixel art and a unique story penned by a professional children’s author. Battle Princess Madelyn is available now on Xbox One and PC. Leave a Reply. |
