The General Manager of DICE, Oskar Gabrielson, today confirmed that Battlefield V has been delayed.
Some of the changes include "meaningful improvements to the core gameplay experience," such as adjusting the gameplay tempo, improving soldier visibility and reducing player friction. A lot of these improvements will be live when the open beta takes place, starting on 6 September.
Even more feedback is expected following the open beta, and so the new launch date was chosen to give the developers time to implement any further changes and ensure they can "deliver on the potential of Tides of War."
Battlefield V will now release on 20 November.
