Bioware cancel Mass Effect: Andromeda tech test, reveal PAX East schedule

In the developer's latest blog post, it was quietly announced that there will no longer be a multiplayer technical test for the upcoming sci-fi RPG. It's not all bad news, though, as eager fans attending PAX East can still go hands-on.

Bioware will offer attendees the chance to test out the title's fast-paced, cooperative multiplayer on PC. There will be 12 NVidia machines running 10am - 10pm over the show's three day course, 10 - 12 March. Character kits will be swapped out daily, giving players a look at some of the different classes and abilities that will be available when Andromeda launches later this month.

Those in attendance can also pay a visit to Microsoft on the show floor, where they can get a taste for the Xbox One version of the game.

If you can’t make it to PAX East, don’t worry, because live on PAX's Twitch channel the team will be showing off some exclusive gameplay footage, sharing secrets about what lies beyond our galaxy and taking part in a spoiler-free Q&A session.
