Capcom have announced The Disney Afternoon Collection, a bundle containing HD upgrades of six classic Disney games, including DuckTales, DuckTales 2, TaleSpin, Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers, Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers 2, and Darwing Duck.

All six titles will boast 1080p visuals (although a number of filter options allow players to give the games an authentic retro look and feel) while Capcom have also added a few extra features to give the games a new twist.

Boss Rush allows players to tackle the game’s challenging bosses consecutively, Time Attack’s online leaderboards are sure to keep speed runners occupied, while the Disney Museum will offer “a wealth of content to celebrate the era of the original releases, such as concept art, advertisements, character art, and music – all preserved in their original glory.”
 
There’s also a handy new ‘Rewind’ feature which makes the games more accommodating to new players by allowing them to jump back a few seconds in time in case they run into trouble.
 
The Disney Afternoon Collection will be available as a digital download from 18 April on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC, and will cost £15.99/ €19.99/ $19.99. There was no information about whether the bundle will be making its way to the Switch anytime soon.
