Chibi-style action adventure title Conan Chop Chop gets a February release date

Funcom and developer Mighty Kingdom have revealed the release date for their light-hearted chibi-style, rogue-lite adventure game, Conan Chop Chop.

Initially taken as an April Fool’s joke, the project was officially confirmed as real during this year’s E3 event, where attendees got to go hands-on with the colourful action-adventure title. Conan Chop Chop is a party game that can be played with up to four friends in co-operative action, with local and online multiplayer supported.

Players can choose from a diverse range of “badass” warrior gods (including Conan, naturally) with the option to customise weapons and items to match their playing style.

​“We have had so much fun developing this game, that I actually have mixed feelings about the end being nigh,” admits Mighty Kingdom CEO Philip Mayes. “An action-adventure rogue-lite party-game. Featuring Conan. I mean, what more can you ask for?”

Conan Chop Chop is out 25 February on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Switch and PC.
