City of Brass Fortune’s Rivals update adds new playable characters

Uppercut Games Arabian Night’s-inspired rogue-lite City of Brass is getting some new content today courtesy of the latest update.

More characters are joining the game’s current roster of thieves looking to score their share of treasure, offering players the chance to try out new weapons and playstyles and get a glimpse into new backstories. The update is available now for PC players, while PS4 and Xbox One users will have to wait longer, with the new content being added sometime “soon."

The characters included in the update are The Traveller, The Fool and The Soldier, the latter of which utilises a long spear that can be hurled at enemies, and The Brigand, who comes armed with throwing knives and low health, but faster movement speed.

​Fortune’s Rivals also adds gameplay tweaks based on player feedback, Japanese localisation and the option to choose the gender for the whip and blade wielding starter character.
