City of Brass swings onto Switch this February

The Arabian Nights inspired first-person rogue-like, City of Brass, is coming to Nintendo Switch next month, complete with a host of new bells and whistles.

First releasing on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Steam way back in the opening half of 2018, City of Brass features a Blessings & Burdens system which allows players to tweak the difficulty by modifying settings such as health, damage output, item cost and more.

The Nintendo Switch version launches with three unlockable characters alongside the starting duo; the fast but frail knife-fighting Brigand, the spear-throwing Soldier, and the strong but slow Hellion genie.

Also bundled in are the myriad enhancements that have been added since release, including new relics, weapons, enemies and various quality of life improvements.

"City of Brass brings the stories from Arabian Nights to life in a fast-paced hack-and-slash adventure that draws on our team’s experience working on titles like the BioShock series,” said Ed Orman, co-founder and designer at Uppercut Games.

“We’ve continued to support the game since it launched and look forward to introducing it to a new audience with all those improvements baked in when City of Brass comes to Nintendo Switch this February.”
