Daedalic Entertainment are working with Middle-Earth Enterprises on a new Lord of the Rings game centred around Gollum.
"When you look at our history with storytelling games, it was obvious that we needed to do something where the protagonist has a conflict going on," said Fichtelmann.
"This is also something you'll play in the game. You'll come to decisions you have to make, and you'll have the two voices talking to you. He may change his mind, and this is a clue about how it will play." As Warner Bros. own the film rights, Andy Serkis won't be reprising his role as the pint-sized pest. This Gollum could be very different, as the developers are "telling his story before we learn about what happens to him in the books. So it's definitely new content that we'll see."
