Dead Rising 1, 2 and Off the Record are being re-released

The original Dead Rising is coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.

The sequel and its expansion will also be re-released, but only on the PS4 and Xbox One according to Capcom. ​

It's not yet known if these will be remastered versions or simply ports, but it's worth noting that Dead Rising 2 and Off the Record are already available on PC, and the lack of a re-release for this platform could suggest it’s the latter.

This will be the first time the original zombie brawler makes its appearance on a PlayStation console or PC, having previously been an Xbox 360 exclusive.

Dead Rising 2 and the Frank West flavoured remake were released on PS3, but the third instalment was once again an Xbox One console exclusive.

The fourth entry in the series will be a timed exclusive when it launches in December, but could find it's way to Sony's machine a year later.

Capcom have said they'll have more news to share about the re-releases soon.
