Dishonored 2 second free update now live, adds custom difficulty settings and mission select

Bethesda have announced that the second free update for Arkane Studios' Dishonored 2 is now live across all platforms.

The update brings additional Custom Difficulty Settings which can be used to further tailor the game to your own preferences. Also included is the new Mission Select that, unsurprisingly, allows the replaying of any mission you unlock after the update is installed.

The status of your playthrough will be retained at the start of any mission you choose to replay, giving you the chance to attain a better score for the level or play it a different way entirely.

The new Custom Difficulty settings allow players to customise their experience with more than 20 different sliders to fine tune everything from how quickly Sleep Darts take effect, to how many active enemies are likely to attack you at once.

Those seeking the ultimate challenge can toggle on Iron Mode when starting a new game to disable manual saving and introduce perma-death.
