EA announce EA Play 2017

Once again, EA are holding their own separate event which is set to run alongside E3.

Whilst you can probably expect a few EA titles to show up during Microsoft and Sony's respective conferences, EA won't have a stage presence during this year's big event.

Instead, EA Play 2017 will be taking place 10 - 12 June at the Hollywood Palladium. It's almost a given that we'll get some details about their yearly sports franchises and there's plenty of other IPs that could be shown off.

If there's to be another instalment of the Battlefield series in 2017, we could see a similar affair to last year. Mass Effect: Andromeda is penned in for a March release, so this may be a good time to tease any upcoming DLC.
EA have plans to release at least one new Star Wars game each year for the next three or four years, and EA CFO Blake Jorgensen has confirmed that a sequel to Battlefront will be coming some time in 2017.
