EA Play round-up15/6/2016 The EA Play event was hosted by Andrew Wilson - who is almost certainly not a synth - and whilst there was a focus on all things sports, we also got to see some footage of other games that are in the works. Have a look for yourself: A multiplayer trailer was released which shows new weapons, for both titans and pilots, as well as a fancy grappling hook, which can be used offensively. Next up, we had Mass Effect Andromeda, which promises to be bigger and better than its predecessors and offer more freedom than has ever been given in a Bioware game, all powered by the Frostbite engine. Andromeda is set in a whole new galaxy in which humans are alien, so it naturally features an all new cast. With the exception of one fan favourite, that is - the Mako. Not much else was revealed but there's a new cinematic trailer to get you hyped up, which you can watch below: Sticking with the space theme, we know that EA have a few Star Wars titles in development from various studios including DICE, Visceral and Respawn. Battlefront 2 is scheduled to launch next year and Respawn's action-adventure title sometime in 2018. The latter will feature lightsaber battles, which is all anyone wants from a Star Wars game. Have a look at the future of Star Wars: Of course, Battlefield 1 was the star of the show. The WW1 era shooter will feature tanks, horses, bi-planes, zeppelins and, of course, shovels. Apparently, no battle will be the same thanks to the heightened destruction and dynamic weather that will change unpredictably. Judge for yourself: We'll have more for you as E3 progresses, including the first PTC podcast.
