The wait is finally over for Xbox One players as official mod support arrives tomorrow. There are already over 800 mods to download. The full list can be found here and there's a bunch of filters to help you find what you're looking for.
There's a good selection available - from weapons, armour, UI tweaks and visual adjustments - with more to be added over time, while mod support should be coming to PS4 next month. From the website you can add mods to your library, or download them via the in game menu. When using mods on a saved game, it won't affect your original save as any future saves will be added to a separate section. Given that achievements and trophies will be disabled when you use mods, this will be a welcome feature. You'll also be able to change the order in which your installed mods load if you’re using more than one at a time, as loading them in the wrong order could cause problems. For example, if one mod requires another mod to work, the base mod will have to be loaded first. Some mods will also require certain DLC in order to run them. What mods will you be adding to Fallout 4, if any? Let us know in the forums. Comments are closed.
